Cassie Gruenstein is a designer, strategist, teacher/facilitator, and community convener with 25 years of experience helping organizations bring to life values-aligned programs and culture.

Since 2010, her firm, Plus Impact Partners, has served more than 50 nonprofit, philanthropic, and corporate social responsibility clients. She brings a unique blend of strategic expertise, human centered design techniques, and embodiment and mindfulness practices to her work.

She works towards building a thriving, equitable, and kind world, supported by a resilient and resourced social impact sector and a vibrant civil society.

She helps empathetic leaders grow organizations with thriving programs that also center employee and community well-being, trust-based connections, and collaborative success. Every program, system, curriculum, tech product, community, culture, workshop, or convening she designs is done so with a mindset towards resiliency, and active measures incorporated to support participants’ full humanity.

She has taught thousands of leaders in business, nonprofits, and philanthropies across diverse platforms including teaching human centered design methods and embodied creativity practices at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and Berkeley ExecEd, as a speaker at Candid, and as a corporate trainer on Power, and Privilege. Her experience across sectors gives her a nuanced understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing organizations today.
